St. Edwards School
Awendo, Kenya
The Next Phase
Following the successful completion of the first safe water system at St. Edward Special School in Awendo, Kenya in March 2025, the need has grown.
While the existing system has already transformed health, school attendance, and daily life for hundreds of students and thousands of nearby residents, additional capacity is urgently needed. Current demand now exceeds supply, particularly during peak school hours and dry seasons.
This next phase will install a second borehole to significantly increase water capacity, strengthen system resilience, and ensure a more reliable year-round supply for both educational and community use.
